Time: 11:00am - 8:00pm
Place: 1/F Event Space, Central Market

With a history encompassing more than 70 remarkable years, the rental housing estates not only filled over 30% of the city’s population with fond memories, but also laid a solid foundation for Hong Kong’s economic and social development. The text and photographs connect people inside and outside of the rental housing estates, revealing the role of Hong Kong Housing Society in the social development, as well as enabling audiences to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the collective memory and culture of the rental housing estates.

EXHIBITOR
Hong Kong Housing Society

Established in 1948, Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is an independent and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing quality housing for the people of Hong Kong. With the support of the Government, HKHS has implemented various housing schemes to meet the evolving needs of the community.

Being named the “housing laboratory” in Hong Kong, we keep progressing with the times to explore new solutions, on our own resources or in partnership with Government, so as to help address different housing needs of the people. Such a spirit of innovation is the cornerstone of our business development.
